LuVern and Colleen Lyle, of Oakland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Lyle, to Alvin Barclay, son of Mike and Linda Burzinski, of Austin.

Melissa is a graduate of Pacelli High School and South Central Technical college in Mankato. She works at St. Marks Nursing Home as a cook.

Alvin is a graduate of Hayfield High School. He is the groundskeeper at St. Marks Nursing Home.

A wedding is planned for April 16 at Crane Community Chapel in Austin.
