Diana Polis-Dorroh and John Kalis announce their engagement.

Diana is the daughter of Marilyn Polis, of Albert Lea, and the late John Polis. John is the son of Henry and Violet Kalis, of rural Walters.

Diana is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and Riverland Community College. She is currently a homemaker.

John is a graduate of Kiester High School and Austin Community College. He is a senior field engineer at Alliant Energy in Albert Lea.

A wedding is planned for April 9 at their home.
