Icy roads cited in fatal crash

STORDEN — One person is dead after a car collided head-on with a semi-truck on an icy highway in southwestern Minnesota.
The State Patrol report states the crash happened about 8 a.m. Tuesday on Minnesota Highway 30 east of Storden.
The patrol says the driver of a Toyota Corolla that collided with the semi was killed. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
The trucker was not hurt. The patrol says roads were icy at the time.
The highway was shut down for about four hours after the crash.
Rollovers reported
Two rollovers without injuries were reported within Freeborn County on Tuesday. According to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports, the first crash reportedly took place at 8:14 a.m. near the intersection of 760th Avenue and 150th Street at 8:14 a.m. The second took place at 8:20 a.m. near the intersection of county roads 26 and 13.
