Paul died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his sister’s home.

Paul Eugene Tasker was born on Aug. 22, 1950, to Robert and Betty (Haines) Tasker in Albert Lea. He grew up in the Alden area and graduated from Alden High School in 1969. After school, Paul enlisted in the United States Marines. In 1974 he married Becky Amundson at Helmer Myre State Park. They were later divorced. Since his retirement, Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son, Jonah, and wife Tena; parents, Robert and Betty Tasker; grandchildren: Tyler Pirsig, Ethian and Addison Tasker; sister, Linda Holstad; brothers: Terry, Bobby and Bill Tasker; nieces: Annie (Chris) Benson, Andria (Matt) Baas, April and Amber Tasker; great-nieces and nephews: Roselind Baas, Lillian Baas, Zoe and Zana Tripp, Alexis and Noah Tasker, Sierra Bergo, and Hunter and Bailee Benson.

Paul was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Lee Holstad.
