The Semcac Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors is seeking two volunteers from Freeborn County to serve on the board of directors: one as a consumer representative and one as a private sector representative.

Consumer representatives make up one-third of the board membership. Semcac program participants who are age 18 or over, head of household, meet Energy Assistance Program guidelines and reside in Freeborn County are eligible to be nominated as a consumer representative.

Private sector representatives make up one-third of the board membership and represent organizations such as social/human services, business/industry/labor, faith-based groups, education, significant minority groups and other groups and interests in the community as selected by the board.
