Snowmobile crash leaves boy injured

A 13-year-old boy was injured after a snowmobile he was driving hit a drainage ditch.
According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Walker Stadheim was driving a snowmobile in a ditch near 750th Avenue and 270th Street when he hit a drainage ditch at 2:46 p.m. Sunday.
The Clarks Grove Fire Department and first responders, along with the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, were called to the scene. Stadheim had a large cut on his left leg and was transported by ambulance to the Albert Lea Medical Center. Stadheim’s condition was unknown as of press time.
Police car hit in traffic crash
An Albert Lea police squad car received minor damages in a traffic crash this weekend. A car with Iowa license plates reportedly backed into the squad car at 1431 Spartan Ave. at 7:02 p.m. on Saturday. No one was injured and damages were minor.
Two hit and run crashes reported
A hit-and-run automobile crash was reported to Albert Lea police at 2200 W. Ninth St. at 10:45 a.m. Friday. The crash reportedly occurred on Thursday. No injuries were reported.
Albert Lea police responded to a hit-and-run crash at 1853 Greenwood Drive at 9:44 a.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.
