The St. Theodore and St. James Catholic Church youth group collected more than $1,700 for the Albert Lea Salvation Army food shelf. The youth presented the check Feb. 16. This is the ninth year the youth group has participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring, which is a national organization that holds an event each Super Bowl weekend to raise awareness of those in need.
