The Humane Society of Freeborn County would like to thank the Albert Lea Tribune for once again featuring the 12 Cats of Christmas. From Dec. 14 through Dec. 31, 12 cats and two dogs were adopted into their forever homes. Another one of our cats was adopted by a local nursing home and he serves the residents as a therapy cat. We would also like to thank everyone who helped fill the Christmas stockings at the shelter with toys and treats for our homeless cats and dogs. Once again due to your kindness and generosity we were able to make the holidays a little brighter for our shelter cats and dogs.
