MANCHESTER — A hog barn at 69992 260th St. northwest of Manchester was destroyed by fire on Monday evening, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The call for firefighters came at 6:05 p.m.

Authorities stated the fire was possibly started by a brush fire near the barn, on the Neil Gjersvik farm. The barn was a complete loss.

Manchester and Freeborn fire departments responded. No one was injured.
