The Ladies Aid of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Albert Lea met in Luther Hall on Feb. 10. Hostesses were Tootie Lee and Nancy Toft.

The Rev. Wayne Halvorson conducted Bible study on the Summary of the Blessings of the Seasons and how God’s plan was to provide and nourish people. The members joined in singing a hymn of thanksgiving.

President Maren Ring opened the business meeting. Secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. A card of thanks was received from Wayne Pieper for being remembered following his recent surgery.

Old business

The cookbook that is being compiled was discussed. Ring encouraged everyone to contribute their favorite recipes.

New business

The spring banquet was briefly discussed. Plans will be finalized at the next meeting.

There will be a shower for Tiffany Kassera following the church service on March 13. All are welcome to attend this special event.

The meeting adjourned with the table prayer.
