Police cited Jonah Nathan Knutson for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop near the intersection of East Main Street and Shellrock Street at 2:18 a.m. today, according to reports.

Small fire reported at Rainbow Terrace trailer

The crawl space underneath a trailer in Rainbow Terrace reportedly caught fire Thursday night after a malfunction in the trailer’s infrastructure.

Albert Lea Fire Department Capt. Lee DeVries said a trailer at 625 Larimore Circle had a water line with heating elements around it that malfunctioned and started burning at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Occupants of the trailer heard sparking and saw the smoke and were able to get out of the trailer without any injuries.

The fire was contained to the space underneath the unit, though there was some smoke in the trailer.
