The Lakeview Elementary School’s Math Masters team took first place in a regional competition.

The team members who took first place include Julia Deyak, Kathryn Flaherty, Adam Nelson, Darren Guildner and Jacob Bordewick. The other Math Masters team, which took 13th place, includes Austin Dulitz, Claire Sherman, Alli Sherman, Sean Brownlow and Maddy Funk.

There were 152 participants in the individual round. Sean Brownlow took 11th place, Jacob Bordewick took 20th place, Kathryn Flaherty took seventh place, Adam Nelson took 13th place and Darren Guildner took 10th place.

There were also 152 participants in the fact drill competition. Sean Brownlow took third place, Jacob Bordewick took second place, Austin Dulitz took 11th place, Kathryn Flaherty took sixth place and Darren Guildner took ninth place.
