Astrup-Scott chose the rigors of preparing two memorized pieces of music under the auspices and directives of the National Federation of Music Clubs. The second annual Youth Music Competition was held Feb. 26 at the First Presbyterian Church of Albert Lea. Kristine Volz entered advanced vocal class III; Nicole Borneman entered moderately difficult piano class I; Travis Nemec entered junior vocal class III and elementary piano class III; Cali Mowers entered elementary vocal class III.
