I would like to say thank you to everyone who went to the polls to exercise their right to vote in the special election on March 15 for the Freeborn County Commissioner District 5 seat. Thank you to everyone who opened their doors to me, read my literature and took the time out of their busy day to contact me with questions about issues that affect us here in Freeborn County.

It was an honor and a privilege to run against Tony Pestorious. Tony ran a good, clean campaign focusing on the issues, and that is the way campaigns should be run, on the issues, not mudslinging. I wish Tony the very best in all of his future pursuits; I know he will succeed.
