Bar broken into

Legends Bar, 721 Marshall St., was reported broken into at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, according to police. Reports state the business was broken into through the window of the front door. Cash was stolen and damage was reported to the interior. The break-in reportedly took place sometime Wednesday night.

Lockers broken into at Family Y

Several lockers at the Albert Lea Family Y, 2021 W. Main St., were reported broken into at 2:13 p.m. Thursday, according to reports.

Cougar on the state trail?

The Albert Lea Police Department received a call of someone seeing a cougar along the Blazing Star Trail on Thursday. However, police stated they were not able to confirm the sighting.

Three cited for shoplifting

Police cited Jamie Lynn Axsmith, 18, for shoplifting at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., at 7:53 p.m. Thursday, according to reports. Two other juveniles were also cited.

Theft reported

A theft was reported from 310 U.S. Highway 65 in Glenville at 9:23 a.m. Thursday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. No information was available about what was taken.
