Do you know what records are available at the Freeborn Government Center for genealogical research? Kelly Callahan, county recorder, will show and explain several types of records that are available in the Recorder’s office. The records will include a land record overview, property types, indexes, etc.

The Freeborn County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Government Center. The meeting will be held in the Albert Lea Room for a short business meeting and then in the Recorder’s office.

Please use the entrance to the Government Center from the parking lot located on corner off College Street and Newton Avenue.
