The theme for this year’s Third of July Parade will be “Freeborn County, Past, Present and Future,” according to results from a public survey by the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce.

Results were as follows:

• “Freeborn County, Past, Present and Future,” 31 votes

• “Celebrate our Armed Forces,” 17 votes

• “Red, White and Blue, Old Time Traditions,” 15 votes

• “American Film History,” 10 votes

• “Fantastic Adventures in American History,” 7 votes

• “Patriotic Memories,” 3 votes

• “American Inventions,” 1 vote
