I see in the news the legal system has failed the child again. If an adult hits another adult or accidentally kills, they get charged with a felony or attempted murder or murder and get prison. Do the same thing to a baby, what do they get? Days or months in jail.

Don’t children have the same rights as adults in the legal system? After all, they are a lot more vulnerable and the courts should not turn a blind eye. Why aren’t these people charged with harsher crimes? Attempted murder or even murder is called child abuse. Why not call it what it is? Babies are people too! Isn’t it time the courts get things right?
