Some area golf courses expect to be open this weekend while others plan on opening next week.

Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea will open to the public on Saturday and tee times are already booked through 3:10 p.m. The forecast for Saturday is mostly sunny with a high near 44 degrees and northwest wind between 6 and 9 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Green Lea Golf Course in Albert Lea plans on opening to the public on Wednesday with its restaurant opening Monday. Wednesday’s forecast is partly sunny with a high near 50 degrees.

Clarks Grove Golf Course and Oakview Golf Club in Freeborn opened earlier this week.
