The “time is now” to hear from your local representative. Rep. Rich Murray will hold a legislative update on Tuesday, April 19, at the Brookside Education Center starting at 4 p.m.

The Legislature has completed its first 100 days, and this is your opportunity to participate in the legislative process. The Minnesota House and Senate have passed all of its budget bills and are now completing the conference committee process — comparing the House and Senate bills. Rich Murray was selected as a member of the Transportation Conference Committee. It is quite a testament to his skills and effectiveness to receive this appointment as a freshman legislator.

Rep. Murray will also discuss the K-12 education reform initiatives that are currently under consideration in St. Paul.
