On April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Lake Mills Police Department, the Lake Mills Task Force Against Substance Abuse and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal to either the Lake Mills Police Department at 304 S. Mill St., Lake Mills, IA 50450. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Starting in May 2011 the Lake Mills Police Department will offer an ongoing, local, convenient and consistent drug take back site right in their department. For the LMPD drop site and further details please call 641-592-2188.
