Thanks for helping the Ecumenical Food Pantry

The directors of the Ecumenical Food Pantry wish to thank all those people and organizations that made the March Minnesota Food Share drive the huge success it was. The pantry received more than 7,000 pounds of food and more than $18,000 during the campaign. Those giving money were too numerous to name; however, the top three food donations came as result of the efforts of the scouting troops, Innovance and Lou Rich, and the Freeborn County Department of Human Services. During the first three months of 2010, the pantry was visited 441 times, and those people were given more than 18,000 pounds of food. During the same period of 2011, the pantry’s 482 visitors received almost 23,000 pounds of food. These numbers show why your support is so greatly needed and appreciated.
