The Easter Bunny is coming to the mall

Meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs Saturday morning at Northbridge Mall. The hunt starts at 10 a.m. for ages 5 to 11. A hunt for children under 4 and special needs children starts at 9:30 a.m. near Herberger’s.

The Easter egg hunt is held by the Albert Lea Tribune in conjunction with the Albert Lea Department of Parks and Recreation and Northbridge Mall.

Don’t forget to bring a camera to take a photo of your youngsters with the bunny and your own basket to collect eggs. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday

• See the “East Meets West I-90 Art Connection” show at the Albert Lea Art Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The Area Community Choir will perform at 7 p.m. at the Freeborn Congregational UCC of Freeborn. Donations will be accepted.

• Grizzly Sounds DJ will have music and dancing from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at The Office Bar in Glenville.

Saturday

• A breakfast of biscuits and gravy, sausage, peaches, juice and coffee will take place at the American Legion in Albert Lea from 8 to 10 a.m. Cost is $5 and there will be Bloody Mary drink specials from 8 a.m. to noon.

• See the “East Meets West I-90 Art Connection” show at the Albert Lea Art Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• An Easter egg hunt at Northbridge Mall in Albert Lea starts at 10 a.m. The event is free and for children of all ages.

• An Easter egg hunt for children in the second grade and younger sponsored by Faith First Preschool and the Lake Mills Chamber Development Corp. will take place rain or shine. Doors open at 9 a.m. at the middle school gym in Lake Mills, Iowa, and there will be games, storytelling and more for the kids. From 9 to 11 a.m. photos with the Easter Bunny are available. The hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp.

• Nelson’s Market Place in Albert Lea will hold an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. in the parking lot.
