House asunder

People gathered Monday to watch an excavator with Krueger Excavating knock down a house at 322 Vine Ave. The house burned in an early morning fire April 13. The falling charred remains sent enough dust through the area that some people felt compelled to leave. -- Sara Aeikens/for the Tribune
