Following the success of the Hymnworks concert last May, Hymnworks II will be presented on Sunday at 7 p.m. at First Lutheran Church of Albert Lea. The concert will consist of familiar hymns newly arranged and orchestrated by Brock Besse. More than 60 musicians and singers from throughout southeastern Minnesota will join together as the Southeastern Minnesota Chamber Orchestra and the Albert Lea Community Chorus for this concert. Both groups are under the direction of Besse.

Some of the hymns peformed will be “Were You There,” “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross,” “Morning Has Broken,” and “I am Thine, O Lord.”

Tickets are available at the First Lutheran Church office and at Doyle’s Hallmark. They will also be available at the door. Tickets purchased in advance are $8 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. All tickets are $12 at the door.
