Police, deputies bust parties

Albert Lea police officers arrested 23 people for illegal consumption during a party at 12:41 a.m. Saturday at 115 McArthur Drive.
Albert Lea Police Lt. J.D. Carlson said at least four of the people arrested were younger than 17 and the rest were between 18 and 20 years old.
Among the arrests, police arrested Andrew Peter Sabinish for a social host violation. Trevor Dylan Friday, 18, was arrested for fleeing on foot and minor consumption.
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested four people for illegal consumption after receiving a 911 hangup call at 2:55 a.m. Saturday from 510 Main St. in Hartland.
As deputies approached the house, the people inside turned off the lights and refused to open the door.
Deputies obtained a search warrant to get into the house and arrested a juvenile occupant for a social host violation and minor consumption.
Also arrested for minor consumption were David Rodriguez, 20, of Albert Lea, Jeffrey Schellenberg, 19, of Albert Lea, and Blaine Severtson, 19, of Clarks Grove.
