The Albert Lea Tigers boys’ tennis team won their first match of the season Monday 4-3 at Fairmont.
Dyllan Engebretson won the Tigers’ lone singles match and the team swept doubles, including a three-set win by No. 1 Steve Kruen and Darik Weigel.
Engebretson defeated Trevor Kopischek 6-3, 6-1, and Kruen and Weigel defeated Grant Becker and Sterlin Johnson 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
