Sentencing has been postponed for the 40-year-old Wells man who pleaded guilty in April to sexual conduct with two children.
A spokeswoman with Faribault County Court Administration said Jose Luis Perales will now be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. June 13.
Perales pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim under 13 and one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim between 13 and 15. Both counts involved penetration.
The plea came as part of an agreement between Perales’ lawyer and the Faribault County Attorney’s Office.
