Donald Gross

Memorial services for Donald L. Gross, of Albert Lea, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the church. Don died June 23, 2011, at the age of 64, from melanoma metastasis to the brain. Memorials are preferred to the Don Gross Scholarship Fund at Grace Lutheran Church.

Robert Frydenlund, 90, of Albert Lea, died today, June 27, 2011, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Albert Lea. Arrangements are pending at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

Ellen A. Haakensen, 93, of Wells, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Wells. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.

Iva Sletten

Iva Delores Sletten, of Clarks Grove, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Clarks Grove Baptist Church, Clarks Grove. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Bonnerup Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
