Organizers of the Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day want people to know that families, not merely veterans, are invited to the picnic social in Northwood, Iowa, this Saturday.

There is no cost associatied with the social.

This gathering is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 790, and will be held at the Swensrud Park. Serving to begin at 1 p.m.
