First-graders were stuck in jail for a short time.

First-graders from Halverson Elementary School visited the Freeborn County Historical Society on May 10. They were led by tour guides and shown a variety of antiques and buildings. Students saw old fire trucks and equipment, a jail, a doctor’s office, a dentist’s office, an old printing press and much more. The students wished to thank the society for an interesting trip.

Kids learned from tour guides about various objects and buildings.

Children from Albert Lea School District visited the Freeborn County Historical Museum and Village.
