Through the years the family unit has had many changes. Same-sex couples are allowed to adopt and create a loving family unit. Why shouldn’t they be allowed to publicly commit to one another? Definitions constantly change, evolve as our society evolves. Our forefathers founded our country on Christian principles, yet we have discriminated groups for hundreds of years. If all men are created equal, then let’s give all men equal rights. I get tired of people using religion as a cover for discrimination and hate.

“He without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.” I prefer a nonviolent world where people love one another and live and let live.
