Salvation Army will start summer program

The Salvation Army of Albert Lea will be starting an additional Summer Food Service Program on Monday through the Minnesota Department of Education Food and Nutrition Service. Free lunch meals will be provided to all eligible children. Children eligible for this site are ages 3 to 18 years living in Freeborn County.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday starting Monday through Friday, Sept. 2, at the Salvation Army Meal Site Tent, 217 W. College St., Albert Lea.
