For the past 21 years, Lion Jack Webster from the Waterville Lions and the Lions’ district governor have traveled throughout the Lions district to collect donations. With the participation of all the districts’ 63 Lions clubs, in 2 1/2 days, the popular fundraiser collected $16,200 for various Lions service projects. Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization with 1.4 million members in 45,500 clubs.
