ALHS drumline hits the parades

No, Albert Lea High School may not have a marching band, but we do have a drumline. Even though this director knows he will not be back next year he still maintains the teaching aspect, directing and teaching our students right up until his last day. Our drumline has been going strong with practice that started way before the school year ended and a power week of practice right after school ended. They have already been participating in a number of parades since then and will have a full schedule this week and through the Fourth of July. These students have worked hard on the drumline this year. Come and support the students, and their director, during the parade on Sunday. This week they will be attending Thunder of the Drums in Mankato, performing at Valleyfair and during the Fourth of July weekend they will be performing in the Bricelyn parade on Saturday, Albert Lea parade on Sunday, also on the Fourth in Austin and Blooming Prairie. Good job, drumline!
