Borrowing needs to come to stop

Whether by design or accident, Congress and the administration have managed to offend the vast majority of all parents in America. This includes parents of all races, all ethnic groups, all nationalities, all union members, all members of management, all atheists, all religions, the poor, the wealthy, the middle class, the liberals, the conservatives, the centrists, the libertarians, and all other citizens concerned about oncoming generations.
They have achieved this distinction by finding ways to avoid explaining why this administration and Congress are actively encouraging actions that are forcing an overwhelming debt upon 78 million American citizens under the age of 18 without their knowledge or consent. Unlike the unavoidable expense of World War II, this debt was incurred to fund the following:
1. Multimillion dollar bonuses paid to wealthy executives with a history of self-serving judgment and administrative incompetence.
2. Multibillion dollar stimulus programs that have not worked as promised.
3. Billions more that Congress continues to trivialize by referring to them as “earmarks.”
4. Billions more to fund several ongoing wars to achieve a purpose most people do not fully comprehend.
The time has come for a local high school or parent-teacher association to publicly invite the president to stand before an assembly of students and explain why borrowing trillions from their future is an act having a worthwhile purpose rather than an undertaking of outright contempt for our responsibilities as adults.
