Three organic farms near Wells will take part in a statewide festival on July 16. The event will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Lutteke organic dairy farm, which is two miles north of Wells on Highway 22 and one mile east on 200th Street. Lunch will be provided and the tour will continue at the Yokiel organic grain and beef farm and the Kluender organic farm. There is no charge for the tour and the public is invited. Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed July 16 Sustainable Agriculture Day in Minnesota. Tours of farms are scheduled throughout the state.
