Job Talamantes, 65, Austin

The funeral service for the Rev. Job Moreno Talamantes of Austin, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Albert Lea. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bonnerup Funeral Service Albert Lea and one hour before service at the church.
Job died Thursday July 21, 2011, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. He was 65 years old.
Job was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Plainview, Texas, to Eucebio and Hilaria (Moreno) Talamantes Job has lived in Plainview and Albert Lea, and since 1996, Austin. He married Guadalupe Gallardo. Job was a pastor of the United Pentecostal Church and has service congregations in Austin, Worthington, Albert Lea and other churches.
Job is survived by his wife: Guadalupe Talamantes of Austin; three sons: Job Talamantes Jr. of Austin, Willie (Toni) Talamantes of Albert Lea, and David (Amie) Talamantes of Austin; brothers: Marcelino (Roxy) Talamantes of Alden, Joe (Phyllis) Talamantes of Albert Lea, Able Talamantes (Leann) of Rochester, Nat Talamantes of Odessa, Texas, Eliazar (Mary) Talamantes of Owatonna, Ray (Alma) Talamantes of Albert Lea, David (Connie) Talamantes of Albert Lea, and Vince Medina; sisters: Martha (Joe) Garza of San Antonio, Texas, Abby (Pete) Pena of Lubbock, Texas, and Lidia Reed of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren: Josh, Cassandra, Willie Jr. Jeremiah, Wes, Trayton, Alexis, Brook, Chloe, Logan, Chase, Alesha, Vanessa, Justina, Madaline, Maci, and Andrea (Mosca); several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Job is preceded in death by his parents: Eucebio and Hilaria Talamantes; sister-in-law: Mary Ellen Talamantes; nephews: Dakota and Anthony.
