The June meeting was called to order by President Dorothy Wedge. The minutes and treasurer’s report were read, approved and placed on file. Correspondence was read by Secretary JoAnn Holstad.

The group received a check from the district Watanye club to be given to the children’s library. All the clubs make a donation to the district club, and they give a check back to one or two clubs each year for them to give to their libraries of choice.

The scholarship was presented to Skylar Anderson. She will be going to the Riverland Community College for the nursing program. The club wishes the best for Skylar.

The club voted to give two sponsorships to the Audobon Society as they had in the past. The sponsorships are given to fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grades in Freeborn County.

The club gave $24 to the food shelf.

They signed up for the uptown Crazy Days. They planned to sell dish cloths and window cloths on Thursday and Friday.

Joy McCune has an anniversary of 10 years of membership in the club. The meeting was adjourned.

Hostess for the meeting was Janice Erdahl. The next meeting will be on July 11.
