The City of Albert Lea will officially become a Yellow Ribbon Community at an event at 3 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Rochester Art Center. Three representatives from Albert Lea will accept the award, and a reception will follow the event. The city was able to become an official Yellow Ribbon Community after demonstrating a network of support is available for military servicemen and their families.
