Emily Bernau and Jordan Bohonek, of Austin, announce their engagement.

Emily is a graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School and has an accounting and business management degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She is employed as a senior accountant at Hormel Foods in Austin.

Jordan is a graduate of Albert Lea High School. He is employed as the service manager for Holiday Ford Lincoln in Austin.

Parents of the couple are Martin and Julie Bernau, of Alden, and Julia Bohonek, of Albert Lea. Grandparents of the bride are Richard and Leona Bjelland, of Albert Lea.

A wedding celebration in Alden is planned for Sept. 17.
