Steve and Kay Torgerson, of Austin, and Danny and Sue Steele, of Alden, announce the engagement of their children, Stephanie Torgerson and Chad Steele.

Stephanie is a 1998 graduate of Austin High School and a 2002 graduate of University of Minnesota in applied economics. She is employed at Land ‘O Lakes Purina Feeds.

Chad is a 1998 Alden-Conger High School graduate and a 2003 graduate of University of Minnesota in agricultural business and animal science. He is employed at Agstar Financial Services.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 20 at Hormel Historic Home in Austin.
