Kudos to Julie Seedorf on your column on Aug. 1, 2011. Thank you for your great article. Sad but true!

In the ’90s I had a letter in the Tribune regarding the profanity being allowed on television. TV has come a long way with sexual activity, brutal killings and worse. This is polluting young minds when they can barely talk. After 9/11, I read about a young child watching the live pictures of the attack and when the plane hit the building he said “Wow. Cool!” They see, but they don’t understand. “Television is one of America’s worst pollutions!” I pray for the children.
