Albert Lea Area Solo Parents and Singles met Aug. 9 at Oak Park Place. Norma Demmer, president, opened the meeting with the Serenity Prayer. Treasurer and secretary reports were given. Birthday supper for Aug. 18 at the Roadhouse in Walters. Birthday supper for Sept. 22 will be at Main Street Bar & Grille in Alden. Treats were served by Marilyn Grasdalen. The September meeting will be Sept. 13 at Bob Hanson Park in Clarks Grove. Potluck supper and meeting to follow. All singles and solos are welcomed to join us.
