U.S. Highway 65 in Albert Lea opened to traffic on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Highway 65, which is Broadway Avenue in this stretch, was closed since Aug. 29 while Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad crews constructed a new railroad crossing. The tracks cross just south of the Freeborn County Courthouse.
