Minnesota First District Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary will hold their Fall meeting in Rochester on at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, hosted by Whitlock Sonnenberg VFW Post No. 1215 and its Ladies Auxiliary.

First District VFW Commander Jim Rowe, Owatonna, and First District VFW Ladies Auxiliary President Pat Sable, Owatonna, will preside over the meetings.

Auxiliary members will meet at the Clarion Inn, 1630 South Broadway in Rochester with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be served following the meeting at the Rochester VFW on 16 6th St. SW.

VFW Auxiliary members will have “Schools of Instruction” on these programs: Legislative, Membership, Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen.

First District Auxiliary presidents, secretaries and treasurers will be honored at the auxiliary meeting.

All those chairpersons, who are unable to attend, should mail their reports to the

Auxiliary District Secretary prior to this meeting. The group encourages all First District VFW Post and Auxiliaries to be in attendance to receive information on all programs.
