The Albert Lea Municipal Airport just isn’t the same place that it used to be. There is a brand new, longer runway, and the old runway will become a taxiway. There is no doubt that having a bigger, better airport is good for the economy in Albert Lea, and it helps position us for attracting manufacturers and other sorts of companies.
