This week our local Humane Society will be holding a fundraising dinner at Christ Episocopal Church, 204 W. Fountain St. Please help this worthy cause by calling 402-0613 to make reservations.

An auction will be held, there will be some entertainment and dinner served. Our shelter is overcrowded and needs supplies to keep it going. Please plan to attend.

It’s this Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. And if you’re at all interested in adoption, please stop down to the shelter and see the new addition coming up and the numerous cats and dogs available for adoption.

Before spending hundreds of dollars on a dog with a pedigree, check out these animals first. All they need are loving homes with someone to take care of them and they will return the favor by loving you back. Also, don’t forget they’re still raising money to finish off the addition. Please help in any way you can.
