Police arrested James Duane Colstrup, 55, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 10:35 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Main Street and Sorenson Street, reports stated.

 

Car reported stolen

A grayish-blue Buick LeSabre was reported stolen from 616 James Ave. at 10:03 a.m. Thursday, according to reports.

 

Fire reported

A fire called in as illegal burning was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at 11:27 p.m. Thursday at 25693 Minnesota Highway 13 near Manchester, according to reports.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office detective Chuck Malepsy said no one was around at the time officials responded. Investigators still are trying to establish who started the fire.

The Manchester Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

 

Child bitten by dog

A 12-year-old child who had been bitten by a dog was reported in Urgent Care at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea at 4:13 p.m. Thursday, according to reports. The dog reportedly lives on Plainview Lane. No other information was available as of press time.
