Recently I happened to be at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis and ventured into the gift shop. I decided I would only buy something made in America. I shopped for an hour and did not see anything made in America. So I decided to go for a cup of coffee and purchased a small package of Fig Newtons. As I unwrapped the Fig Newtons, I looked at the bottom of the box and saw these words, “Made in Mexico.” I nearly fell off my chair! Do you suppose Congress knows about this?
